This Musk Ox carving is crafted from desert ironwood. This ironwood species grows only in the Sonoran Desert of Mexico and southwestern Arizona. The wood is so dense and heavy that it sinks in water!

This is not a a "cookie cutter" carving, but a meticulously detailed art piece, signed by the carver. It is 11" long and 9" high.
