The Modular Splice & Tap Kit is fast and easy to install and makes splicing and tapping electrical wire simple and safe. No special tools or wire nuts are needed; 10-inch pliers are all that's required to connect the apparatus. The package includes Modular Splice & Tap Kit (2 pieces) and Instructions.

Installation is easy. The Modular Splice & Tap Kit mounts easily with screws or nails (sold separately). Strip the outer electrical wire sheathing, and place the black, white and ground wires into the clearly labeled locator channels. Press the housing hinge posts into the cover hinge slots. Close the apparatus securely using your 10-inch pliers, squeezing until the latches lock. Connect the two sections of the Modular Splice & Tap Kit, and you're done.

The Modular Splice & Tap Kit works with 14/2 and 12/2 AWG electrical wire and supports wiring up to 300 volts and 20 amps. Its large housing surface makes for easy circuit labeling. Double piercing terminals provide maximum conductivity and minimum voltage drop.
