| Our pet female rat, Isabelle, must find a new forever home. She is two years old and extremely sweet and affectionate. She has never even attempted to bite anyone. Many children in our neighborhood have played with her and love her, so she is well socialized and has good manners with kids. Of course any child who adopts her must be able to promise to be kind to Isabelle, and protect her from any others who would NOT be kind. Her owner is my 9yr old daughter. Her father died in December and we are with great sadness, having to downsize the pets in our household. Isabelle is a wonderful pet. She is super intelligent, knows her name, and will make a better pet than a hamster, gerbil, or guinea pig any day. (they all tend to be grouchy and are biters). She would come with a NICE three level cage with a house, water bottles, and food bowls with all the food and treats we have. Isabelle will make a great pet for any boy or girl at least 7-8 yrs old. My daughter, Isablle's "mom" has veto power on who she feels would be the best loving home for Isabelle. Also, please do not let her tail be an adversion in your decision. It is only a tail - most animals in the world have tails.
