| ***UP FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION IS ONE 47 x 41 x 31mm NATURAL VERY RARE "UNTREATED" PHENOMENAL TANZANIAN GOLDEN HONEY OPAL GEM CARVING OF A DOG, ASTONISHING CLEAN FOR THIS MATERIAL, 165.20CT #001542***
THIS IS A INVESTMENT OPAL GEM CARVING NOT A RUN OF THE MILL CARVING OR A SOME OF THAT MAN MADE RESIN MOLDINGS!
Here is a rare very phenomenal natural Tanzanian fancy hand carved (free standing) Golden Honey Opal gem carving of a cute dog where the solid rough was mined from the Umba River Valley in the Lelatema Mountains of the Arusha Region, Tanzania. This is the same origin for the highly prized Umbalite garnets. We are talking World Class gem carving here! This gem carving has a world class golden honey opal color with dendrite dots making a very eye pleasing blend, remarkable luster and a very intricate design and patterns. Exceptional face up appearance & a very gemmy eye appeal. The Tanzanian golden honey opal is by far one of the highest quality of this variety of opal in the market these days and is getting more difficult to acquire these days due to very low to no production. Tanzania nor any other African countries are not very well known for any production of any opal, making this gemmy piece a little rare. Carved from one solid piece of gem quality rough and acquired from one our friends mine claims in Tanzania. Very rare material especially in a carving such as this one! This would make an excellent gift to that someone special or to add to a serious collection! This material runs around $10 to $25 per carat for this cut, clarity, color blend, and carat weight from a jeweler, gem shopping network, or a gem trade show, if you can actually find one. Over $900 at market value. This is a rare treat! Just ask a jeweler or a gemologist. Why pay high market value when you can get it here for below wholesale value for the same or even better quality? Think about it!
Happy shopping! We are not new in the gem trade or auctioneering. We offer all natural gemstones, gem carvings, & facet/cab/specimen grade gem rough, with full disclosure of any enhancements known. We also offer excellent service in all aspects, secure packaging, and fast shipping. You will not be disappointed with this very fine gem!! Please realize that colors can slightly differ from monitor to monitor or with change of lighting (natural, fluorescent, full spectrum, or incandescent).
