This is an original piece of art by Maurice Sterne, the drawing depicts what we believe is a Balinese Prince or at someone from the royal family during the times of Maurice Sterne visit to Bali.

During his stay in Bali he used many subjects that caught his attention and some of them included the royal family.

The piece is very nicely executed, very rich colors and with great contrast.

The piece is signed but not dated but his visit to Bali was in the early 1900's.

the piece measures 24 1/2" high x 20 1/2" wide, including the frame and 17" high x 13" not including frame or matting.
