 | The ATI Remote Wonder is usually bundled with the company's All-In-Wonder high-end video cards. Now the RF remote control is available on its own. With six programmable task buttons, the Remote Wonder can launch and control applications including Web browsers, TV tuners, and multimedia players. In addition to ATI apps and hardware, titles such as Netscape and Winamp are supported, and ATI throws in a software development kit for die-hards who want to write plug-ins.
The remote's best feature is its ability to replicate precise mouse movements. The eight-way pad gives you directional control, and the additional buttons provide drag-and-drop capability and program shutdown. Button placement could be slightly better, but whether you need to control a PC from a couch or across a boardroom, the Remote Wonder is a must-have.
