Here is a very gorgeous natural citrine parcel where the gem rough was mined from São João Da Chapada in Diamantia, of the Minas Gerais State of Southeastern Brazil. These gemstones have a World Class natural golden yellow color that is "un-treated" unlike most all of citrines on the market that are heat-treated amethyst or smokey quartz, which is the majority (80% or better) on the market. ((Natural citrines are rare but still inexpensive, and almost all citrines that have been heat-treated have a reddish tint, called a madeira citrine! Lemon or greenish color citrine, often referred to as Ore Verde, is a misnomer, as this is not natural citrine but only irradiated quartz.)) These natural gems have a spectacular luster, excellent cut with a very slight bit of color zoning under 10X (not with the naked eye), and is common with natural colored citrine. These gems also have a hole drilled through the top for a drop style mounting, excellent for making in to a pendant or drop earrings.
