Classified Details

Lady Hammond Learning is a volunteer-based tutoring program for adults returning to school. We need new tutors throughout the year to keep up with the demand of the students.
The subjects we cover are the usual school subjects- reading, writing, math, science, social studies- but also we do work with study skills and other assorted things that may be barriers for our learners.
Our classes run 3 evenings a week. Even volunteering one evening can make a big impact on our program. You don't need to be a subject expert, but you do need to be a great listener and problem solver.
