Classified Details

Large 7 passenger Touring Car with California (fixed) top touring car. This is a condensing steam car, which means it reuses the steam water thus making it possible to go long distances between water stops.
Produced by the Steam Vehicle Corporation of America in 1924 – they bought the bankrupt Stanley Motor Carriage Company produced about 102 of these cars in 1924. This is one of the last Stanley Steamers ever produced.
This is an upgrade to the famous Stanley Model 740. It does away with the perch poles and has full springs front and rear.
This car was restored in the 1960s and was in an Idaho Museum for a while. It was toured in 2006 and 2007, but the former owner parked it in 2008. This car is ready to fire up and steam. Great tires. Very nice condition. Fully functional. There are lots of pictures at our website, stanleysteameronline.

Why are we selling? We have four cars crammed into a three-car garage (along with a machine shop for Vintage Steam Products. We need the room! Listed in the Stanley Register.
