He comes from a family with children who could no longer keep him due to divorce, but was originally rescued from the streets of New Mexico. Ultimately, he's seeking a long lasting home where he can grow old with his best friend. Playful, and active Felix loves to hike, chew bones, cuddle on the couch and give you sloppy kisses whenever your in the mood. Felix was taken in by the rescue after having been found wandering the streets of Ensenada alone, sick and afraid. He spent months in a foster home recovering before he was ready to start looking for a family. Felix was adopted by a couple and became the star of all their holiday cards and the best friend of their infant son. That was 3 weeks ago...the family reached out to us recently and needed to give poor Felix up. He has lost the family he thought he had. Despite this upheaval and heartbreak, Felix is optimistic.
