 | This beautiful, Apple and Pear, Casserole Dish is made by WCL Potteries. I'm quite sure it is made of ceramic, although, on the outside, the painting of it, tends to make it look like stoneware. When I first saw it, the handles looked like seashells, to me, but perhaps it's more of a Tuscany style. Nevertheless, it is a very pretty piece and would look wonderful in any kitchen! The cooking diameter would be approximately 8-1/2" through the middle, and approximately 5-1/2" in diameter at the top and bottom of the dish. I believe this dish would be great, even as a cookie jar! I know no matter what you choose to use it for, that you will be quite satisfied with your purchase!
