This stone is not the commonly known Nigerian or Ceylon spessartines, as only this impressive color is displayed in only the Namibian material or from the "Little 3 Mine".
Here is a absolutely gorgeous, very valuable, and very scarce Namibia mandarin orange garnet (spessartite) mined from the Kunene River in the Kunene Region of Namibia, Africa. We are talking World Class gem here my fellow members! This gem has that famous and very sought after tangerine orange color (mandarin orange), remarkable luster and a well executed cut. ((The Namibia mandarin orange (tangerine orange) spessartite is by far the highest quality & most valuable of the spessartite garnets in the market these days and is getting more difficult to acquire these days due to very low to no production & rarity from this locality besides the renown "Little 3 Mine".))
