BOURBON STREET BEAT;
A former New Orleans cop partners with an Ivy League lawyer to open up a private detective agency with offices on the city's famed Bourbon Street.
The series lasted for only one season but it had thirty-nine episodes to its credit. The location for the show was the famous "Bourbon Street" in New Orleans, Louisana. Stared Richard Long as private investigator Rex Randolph , the senior partner in a firm. His first partner was murdered, prompting him to look for a replacement. It came in the guise of "Isaac "Cal" Calhoun" (Andrew Duggan), a former police officer who wanted to make a change in his career. After meeting Rex and knowing that his partner was killed, Issac came to offer his services. The two made a great on-screen team, Rex was the cook and Cal loved old movies. Rounding out the cast was Arlene Howell as their secretary Melody. She left about half way through the series, the final member Kenny played by Van Williams spent time trying to find the perfect secretary to replace Melody. The series featured some famous guest stars with story lines & writing that was excellent.
