My name is Jessica and i'm posting this ad for Gus, an inmate at a Federal Detention Center in WA, because he asked me if i would (obviously, he can't access the internet himself in prison). Gus is in the same prison unit as my husband Joe, and they have become friends. I send my husband as much mail as i possibly can because little things like that mean A LOT to a prisoner, more than those on the outside can even understand. There are a ton of prisoners though whose family and friends don't make the effort to stay in touch, not even on holidays or birthdays, and that has gotta make a prisoner feel lonely, forgotten, depressed, and so on.
So Gus has asked for help finding a "pen-pal"...
Here's a little about Gus:
-real name is Michael (Gus is nickname)
-caucasian; 48 years old; 6'1"; 195 lbs.
-shaves his head; "cut"/very physically fit/muscular
-he's a cancer survivor
-when not locked up, enjoys water and snow skiing
-he is possibly facing up to 60 months (five years) in prison for drug related charge (specifically involving crack-cocaine), so just in case it makes a difference, he's not in prison for any violent crimes or anything of that matter
