 | This is Section "A" of the Charlotte News (now no longer publishing), dated December 9, 1980 with the headline: "Gunman stalks, kills ex-Beatle" above a large picture of John Lennon and Yoko Ono. Section A consists of 12 pages, but contains all articles published in that edition about the death of Lennon, along with other news articles.
There is also a 8 page special supplement "John Lennon and the Beatles: A Look Back".
Newspaper shows some signs of age, but is still in good condtion with some light creasing, tanning from age and some small tears. There is some color bleed through on the first and second page of the supplement, visible in images.
