I have two very faithful and very smart black labs. Both know hand signs. Chopper is the male and he is 10 years old. Nicky is 8 years old. Both are very healthy and a lot more years in them. Chopper is like a big teddy bear. He loves everyone and any thing. Nicky is a dog that will protect you. She will be by your side. Before I had Nickey she helped a women with MS.She is good with people but not really with other pets. She does live with a cat. I feel in my heart that she would be happier with a lady.
