 | **UP FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION IS A VERY RARE PYROXMANGITE CRYSTAL WITH SPECIMEN (ON HOST) IN SPECIMEN DISPLAY CASE**
Here is a very truly impressive & super rare Pyroxmangite gem crystal specimen mined from the Morro da Mina Mine in Minas Gerais, Brazil. This super rare gem mineral has a top end reddish pink color tone, and is very clean for this material. This very rare gem mineral has an exceptional face up appearance and a very gemmy eye appeal, especially when displayed in this specime display case. Pyroxmangite is a rare high-temperature polymorph of rhodonite. The two stones are identical in appearance and chemical composition but have different crystal structures. Because pyroxmangite is much rarer than rhodonite it is also more expensive. Rhodonite is rarely found in large enough gem sections to facet stones, and despite is simplistic chemistry, it is a relatively rare mineral. The only gem quality Rhodonite that I've seen is from the Morro da Mina mine in Brazil (where this rare beauty was dug up). These stones are rarely eye clean, but they are gem quality Rhodonite and very well known among rare gem collectors. This particular crystal has a pleasing reddish pink (very similar to smaller Sweet Home Rhodos). There's truly only one mine where you can get gems of this material in the world. A beautiful rare gem to add to a rare gem mineral collection. Keep in mind that not all Rhodonite is pink, as there are localities that produce dark brown Rhodonite which is not nearly as attractive as this material.
