| Located in Columbus, can deliver for $1.50 per mile.
Has a 70's model 70hp Chrysler outboard engine that starts and runs GREAT. We replaced the impeller, spark plug, and gasket between the upper and lower unit last summer. We ran it over memorial day weekend with no problems.
Two problems with boat: 1) the shifting mechanism needs to be replaced (probably the cable as well) if you need more information about this, please email- my husband can explain it. We have it "rigged" where you can change the gears from reverse to neutral to forward, but you have to use a set of pliers, lol.
2) we brought this pontoon with us from Kentucky. In St. Louis the tongue snapped in half on the highway. We fixed it, but had to remove the jack, so in order to raise and lower it you have to use an auto jack. We still HAVE the jack, but it's just not on it. The biggest problem with this tongue breaking was that the brake line snapped- so the line needs to be fixed or replaced now. All the stuff is still there, there's just no fluid in the line because it's broken.
There are some cosmetic deficiencies as well- the vinyl cracked this winter on the seats in a couple of spots, there is a piece of wood on the console that is rotted out, I don't even know why it's there. And the carpet is stained.
The trailer requires a 2-inch ball.
Has a 20 gallon aluminum gas tank, and a 6 gallon plastic auxiliary tank. We also purchased a new EverStart Maxx Marine battery last summer. Also included are life jackets, extra prop, dock bumpers, a set of water skis, a body board (which we have pulled behind the boat and had a BLAST) and also has a green removable Bimini top.
Please feel free to ask any questions, or come by and check it out.
Email me for more pictures, I have a bunch to send you.
ALSO- CAN include the 1986 Chevy Suburban we use to pull it for $1800- 4x4 w/two sets of 1/2 ton springs on front and rear & two sets of tires.
Thanks! |
