 | This is a FANTASTIC Philadelphia Flyers Hockey Puck signed by Bobby Clarke...with a Topps card in an acrylic Puck and Card Holder
Clarke was drafted by the Flyers in 1969 and played his entire 15-year NHL career in Philadelphia. In 1972, the budding star was named as one of the first candidates for the Summit Series against the USSR. Clarke's play was instrumental to the overall win of Team Canada as they fought back to take the series in Moscow. The following season Clarke lead the Flyers to a Stanley Cup, as Philadelphia became first expansion team to win the Trophy. They would go on to repeat as Stanley Cup champs in 1975 The merits he accumulated during his career were impressive. Along with two Stanley Cup championships, Clarke captured numerous individual awards, including the Hart Trophy as the league's most valuable player in 1973, 1975 and 1976, and made the All-Star Team four times. In 1144 career games, Bobby Clarke scored 1210 points and amassed 1453 penalty minutes. Clarke retired after the 1983-84 season and was elected into the Hockey Hall Of Fame in 1987.
