Classified Details

This unique type of earring is called a "threader" earring. Threaders are 24kt gold or sterling silver box chains attached seamlessly to a traditional 3/4" long earring post made from gold or sterling wire. Threaders are worn by "threading" the earring through your ear (using the 3/4" post to start) and allowing the post and part of the chain to dangle behind your ear with the bead(s) dangling in front. Since the box chain is precisely the same diameter as the earring post and the two are attached seamlessly, the chain slides comfortably through your ear to the desired length. Threaders stay firmly in place, so you do not have to worry about them slipping out of your ear.

This pair is made from sterling silver threaders, indicolite crystal bicones, light blue crystal bicones & silver-coated crystals. They measure 4.5" in length.
