The iMove is distinguished by its SRS WOW sound enhancement system, which improves the dynamic audio performance of your iPod tunes. SRS WOW accomplishes this by providing a panoramic, three-dimensional audio image that extends the sound field in both the horizontal and vertical planes. In so doing, the technology lowers the perceived low-frequency response so that your ears hear more bass despite the small driver size. It adds up to an immersive, high-quality audio experience that fills any room in the house.
The iMove also comes with a digital AM/FM radio--a feature that's notably missing from many iPod speaker systems--and several station presets for easy channel surfing. And, perhaps most importantly for a portable system, the boombox runs on both AC and battery power, with support for eight D-size batteries (not included). Other details include a white backlit LCD display, a sleek black housing, an auxiliary input for connecting MP3 players and other audio devices, and a wireless remote that lets you adjust the volume or skip to the next song from anywhere in the room.
