Canadian Goose, hand-crafted from solid oak

My father hand-crafts these bird mobiles one-at-a-time in his woodshop in Katy, Texas.

This mobile is a naturally colorful Texas Water Oak model of the Canadian goose in full flight. It is approximately 9.5" from bill to tail and 17" from wingtip to wingtip and is finished with a clear, glossy polyurethane. It’s priced at $40 (my dad takes PayPal or checks/money orders).

He makes each goose mobile individually, and each is different depending on the grain patterns and various natural imperfections that he finds in the wood.

If you’d like to buy this goose, contact me by e-mail (use the e-mail button above). The bird mobile is in Texas but is easily shipped. You can see my dad's other wood projects online by googling "prairie's end" -- his work is at the top of the list.
