Basket is lined with country blue, yellow, and white checked pattern fabric...nicely padded. Leather straps with snaps hold items in place. On the outside of the half~moon shaped basket is a leather strap with brass colored barrel closure, tough cloth (nautical like) handle.

This picnic basket is in wonderful condition. I dare say it was only used one time.
