This gem has a world class raspberry red color with a very eye clean clarity, remarkable luster and a well executed cut. The Tanzania raspberry garnet is by far the highest quality of rhodolite on the market these days besides the well known Umbalite and is getting increasingly difficult to acquire these days due to low production from the Kangala area of Tanzania. It is rare to to find this exceptional quality in this size, especially due to the point that it is scarce to find any Tanzania raspberry garnet over 3cts alone. This gem is guaranteed at NO LESS THAN $100 per carat for this cut, color, clarity & carat weight from a jeweler or gem shopping network guaranteed, and that's if you can even find one. Would make an exceptional stone set into a ring or even pendant!
