 | EPIC Freestyle Karate & MMA Centers is looking for an instructor to lead a beginning, intermediate, and advanced martial arts program for our youth, teen and adult academy members. Participants are 3 years and up. The instructor will be responsible for planning and implementing program activities. Teaching experience is preferred.
Description Martial Arts Dojo in Maple Grove MN is looking for a young energetic, dependable Martial Artist. Must have great communication skills, awesome charisma and personality, a passion for teaching kids and adults. Are you organized, responsible and self-motivated? Skills and Requirements
• Advanced belt and above
• Friendly, outgoing, adaptable.
• Good listening and communication skills are a must!
Within six months of hire:
• Current CPR Certification
• Current First Aid Certification
Preferred Qualifications (not a must have)
-6 months to one (1) year of teaching experience preferred.
-Bachelor of Arts in Education or related field huge plus
-Gymnastic/tumbling preferred
Know How
Martial Arts experience background is a plus. Experience working with children is desired. The ideal candidate will be motivated, energetic, highly charismatic, have a strong professional background in aerobatics and the martial arts, experience teaching a wide range of ages, and a passion for teaching life skills to young people. Classes include curriculum in Kenpo, Taekwondo, Jiu Jitsu, Hapkido, Tang Soo Do, Boxing, Mixed-Martial-Arts and other types of Martial Arts. Instructors must have reliable transportation. Prefer someone that will be with us long term and grow into the position as we continue to expand our Martial Arts programming.
