In the 18th and 19th century Jelly Cupboards were a common piece of furniture in a home and now in the 21st century they are making a comeback. Jelly Cupboard were used during the winter and spring months to store jelly, jams, preserves and fruit butters that were grown during the summer and fall. Today, homeowners are finding many new uses for the Jelly Cupboard. In today’s modern home you may find this cupboard in the bathroom for storing towel or other bath products. In the kitchen they are used for food storage as well as glassware and silverware storage. In the office you may find books on the inside and in the family room they are used for DVD, CD and video storage.
New. Made-to-Order. This cupboard consists of 2 wire meshed doors and is made of pine with a beadboard back panel. There are 3 shelves that are removable but not adjustable. The cupboard comes complete with 3 sets of black hammered hinges, 2 wooden knobs and 4 magnetic catches. Unfinished.
