 | Rare, Antique policeman’s dark lantern:
This versatile early 19th century piece includes folding handles, a belt clip, and a thick magnifying glass used for portable lighting on a carriage, vehicle or on foot. The vented top can be turned to block, or adjust the light exposure. The hinged door is used to access the oil burner for refilling and lighting. There is one small dent on the side, other than that, it’s complete and in very good condition. It measures 7.5 inches high, 5 deep and 3 wide
