 | This is actually a plastic shade moulded in a stylized design reminiscent of (suggesive of) the old stained-glass light fixtures, but with a funkier, informal, art-deco look.
Fitted for hanging from a switched ceiling box, complete with box cover plate and all other hardware, the light bulb socket is a quality ceramic one, should be safe for as much as 150 watts. Alternately I can re-wire it with a cord and switch to plug into a wall outlet, for an additional $4.00
Size: 21 inches diameter, fixture is 12 inches high plus a 36 inch chain and electrical cord.
This will look great over a pool or games table with a 100, 60 or 40-watt "fat-albert" globe light bulb, not included.
Because it's plastic it's safe, shatter-resistant (great if you have rambunctious kids...) and very lightweight, so no reinforcement is needed to hang this from your ceiling.
