 | Do you need more floor space? A loft bed could be the answer. It frees up the floor space underneath the bed to be used for a play area, to do school work, to play games, and much more. They come unfinished ready for paint. You won't find a stronger, better built bed anywhere. These beds are rock solid, heavy duty for years of abuse. They do not sway or move like most bunk/loft beds.
FEATURES:
WOOD: Kiln-dried, premium Doug-Fir 2x4 and 2x6 - solid, heavy duty construction. All boards are hand selected. All cut edges are flush and bevel sanded. Except for the slats, all boards are finish sanded with 220 grit. Shelves, shelf backing, and desktop are all constructed from ¾" cabinet grade plywood.
RUNGS: 2x4 notched inset, glued and screwed.
RAILS: 2x6 with bonded 2x2 slat support connected to headboard and footboard with 3/8" x 5-1/2" zinc hex bolts, with washer, lock and nut.
DECK: (12) 2x4's, super strong - will hold at least 1200 lbs.
RAILINGS: Dual 2x4, SAFETY railing system to protect your child.
LADDER: Integrated footboard ladder. (Vertical or slanted flat rung +$30)
SHELF: All beds come standard with one headboard shelf per bunk, unless noted. Shelves have holes for cord pass-through.
SETUP: Detailed instructions included.
HARDWARE: A majority of the screws used are 2-1/2" coarse drywall screws, countersunk.
DESK: One of several options made of ¾" cabinet grade plywood.
