 | This is a unit, removed from my car, which I can not use on my new car, since it does not work with push button electric car systems....so I am reluctantly selling it to one lucky bidder.
The unit is complete with all wiring, antenna and main power unit. It comes with two remote starters, and your car can be remotely started from 100 feet away. On the one starter you will see the battery (still good) and you just open the starter with a coin, insert the battery + side up, and then snap it closed again. Replacement batteries are easily and readily available at a very low cost, and usually last up to 2 years.
In the Winter, I would remotely start the car first. I used to put my heater on high, and the fan on speed 3.....but if it was going to snow, instead of having the heater on, I used the defrosters instead, and my car was the only one to not have any snow on the windshield, or what little remained was easily brushed away, and the inside of the car was warm, and all the windows were free of snow. THAT IS SOOOO NICE.
In the Summer....after starting the car, if the temps that day were going to be high, I'd have the car set on the A/C, with blower speed on 3, and when I got into the car it was cool and comfortable. Such Luxury :-)
I paid over $500 for this new, and have been the only user. It is in excellent condition, and can be remounted in another car (but not with pushbutton start) for about $40.00
If you are in the tri-state area of Pa. De. or NJ. I can recommend to you the original installer that installed it for me, then uninstalled it, and will reinstall it again in another car for $40.00.
Remember please, the only cars that can NOT use this are ones like Hybrids with electric push button systems. All other cars with key starters will have no problem with installation.
I can ship this item with no problem, and you can have someone in your area install it. I doubt if there would be more than a $10.00 difference between your person, and mine.
If shipped, the buyer must add $2.55 for insurance or I can not be responsible for loss or damage in transit. | |
