 | For Sale: 1996 Javelin 400 TSD Bass Boat - 19' 10" with 200 HP Johnson Venom motor.
Don't let the year fool you on this boat. It was their tournament series deluxe model with lots of extras like you find on the newer boats. This boat has been kept indoors (when not in use) its whole life and well maintained. I am the third owner of the boat, and in the past 2 years I have done many upgrades to make this a complete fishing package. If you haven't heard of Javelin, it's basically a Stratos, and this deluxe model has a hand-laid fiberglass hull. I am not excited about selling my boat, but some family issues have arisen that take precedence and I really need to sell the boat. This is the third time I have lowered the price!
Features/improvements:
- 100+ lb thrust MotorGuide trolling motor on it's own 24V system (with 2 new trolling motor batteries installed last year)
- A third cranking battery which also runs the accessories
- Front electronics: Humminbird 797C2i side imaging fish finder-- color screen, side imaging, internal GPS and I am including the add-on card from HotMaps Premium with the high definition (1 ft contour lines) maps for lakes in our area. It also has the Humminbird WeatherSense module installed that tracks barometric pressure and forecasts weather conditions
- Rear (driver's console) electronics: Humminbird 575 fish finder with QuadraBeam sonar. Transducer is mounted inside the hull allowing for high speed operation while running
- Large split live well in the back
- Lots and lots of storage all over the boat, including a long rod box
- Motor was completely rebuilt last year with all cylinders bored out and new pistons, etc. put in and tuned up. Runs extremely strong!
- Four blade prop
- Had the steering cables replaced last year (very smooth steering now)
- Trim control mounted on steering wheel for easy adjustments while running
- "Hot Foot" throttle control
- Dual axle trailer (put two new tires on it last year)
- Brand new Minn Kota MK315 3-bank charger for the 3 batteries
- Very complete selection of switches on both bow and driver's console allows you to control all the functions of the boat from either location
- New fire extinguisher under the driver's console (new as of 2008)
- Two of the throwable flotation devices required to be onboard
- keel guard protector
I will also include the anchor and all other miscellaneous items that I have accumulated with the boat, such as spare bulbs, the seats/seat poles and a full gallon of XD50 oil for the motor.
You get the whole package that I have put together-- you should not have to do any more prep work... you can go fishing immediately!
