 | | Uniden President Washington Base station Sideband CB radio, MODIFIED D858 board, Works PERFECT, Radio HAS been modified and has loads of extra channels, goes up to 104, and way down in the basement, has 3 switches on the back to hit other channel banks ,HAS 2 upper sets, AND 2 lower sets,( MAY even have a 3rd set down,I can't remember, I had 2 of these radios years ago, ONE DID have a 3rd set down out of the 2 of them ,it MIGHT be this one, if not, it DOES have 2 sets of lowers) radio IS PEAKED, clarifier is unlocked and has AM and Upper/Lower Side Bands, has volume, squelch, mic gain, RF gain, AM/USB/LSB, and clarifier knobs, Mod/Sig/RF, noise blanker, and CH 9 buttons, and a Superstar DM-1000 Tornado Echo/power mic.(5 pin Cobra/Uniden standard wiring, mic IS already wired up for the radio). I lost the channel map for the radio, so you WILL have to use a frequency counter to remap the channel banks, but all the channels DO work. All work done on this radio was done by "DOC",(anybody into CB radio in the Buffalo area WILL know who he is, he IS a master radio tech), so it IS done right, and works PERFECT with no problems. This IS an excellent skip shooting radio, I talked all over the Earth on this thing years ago, right off the factory finals. These President series radios are getting increasingly harder to find now, and this one IS in perfect working condition and IS peaked and loaded with extras. These ARE VERY COLLECTABLE NOW, Especially in WORKING CONDITION AND MODIFIED. Radio is near MINT in appearance cosmetically and is not all carved up or nasty looking, STILL looks like new, and WORKS better than it looks, The only thing I do NOT have, is the OPTIONAL side speakers for this radio, but base DOES have an internal speaker right from the factory, so you DON'T need the side speakers at all to use it. I WILL sell this for $150.00 FIRM, which is WELL BELOW what these radios go for anywhere now, especially in the condition this one is in, and with all the mods.
