I have a fascinating hand-written diary titled: A SOUTHERN TRIP. It was written by a Christian missionary in 1923.

He and a friend left New Rochelle, NY on September 24th 1923 and preached on street corners all the way to Florida.

They stopped and stayed with Christian Ministers and new found friends along the way.

They did not solicit funds! This is the tale of an amazing journey in the early days before the glamor and money.
