Here is a truly magnificent top peach faceted moonstone mined from the Gangapitiya Mine, near Ambakotte in the Central Province of Ceylon (Sri Lanka). This transparent Ceylonese moonstone displays a phenomenal top peach color with a slight shimmer, and a exceptional polish. ((Ceylonese moonstone of this quality is hard to come by due to low production of this grade material, and is the most important source for moonstone because of the excellent quality such as this one. Very little good to top quality faceted moonstone of any color to colorless is rarely seen on the market and is prized by collectors and alike, especially the rainbow moonstone.)) This material runs no less than $20/ct for this very fine moonstone, That's around $122 market (retail).
