 | The Tampa Tribune reported that a Brandon, FL locksmith was called to change the locks on one of the recently closed Bennigan’s restaurants.
"Bitter that the company still owed him $800 and worried that he would not get his money, the locksmith … took $1,500 worth of liquor and meat from the restaurant’s stock," the article stated.

Larry got off easy. He returned the stolen items and apologized calling it "an honest mistake." Bennigan’s management declined to press charges.
