Sourced from excellent quality VHS and enhanced frame by frame using professional video editing tools in order to restore the quality as much as possible.
This TV adaptation of the book has not yet been officially released and for many years has only been available in poor quality recording (4-5/10 video quality) with both the opening and the closing credits missing from the film.
This edition of the classic film is from a Very Good quality and complete version which has complete end credits and is only missing the first couple seconds of dialogue before the opening credits of the film.
The quality has been remastered from the new source (using MotionDSP VReveal) improving it even further by filtering, cleaning and adjusting the picture quality, contrast, sharpness and color as well as authoring the resolution to 720 x 480 resulting in an overall video quality of at least 7/10 but closer to 8 in my opinion.
