Here is a rare top vivid green (not Verdelite) tourmaline (elbaite) mined from the renowned Edoukou Mine in the State of Oyo, Nigeria, close to the border of Benin! This tourmaline has an exceptional face up appearance & a very gemmy eye appeal with a fantastic electric green color. ((The Edoukou Mine is renowned for producing a new variety of gem-quality tourmaline's which owe their special color to their trace elements of copper and/or manganese. This color was previously only known by the legendary Paraiba tourmaline's from the state of Paraiba in northeastern Brazil. Truly a very impressive gemstone!)) Exceptional eye clan clarity under very close inspection. This would make an excellent gift to that someone special, or a true investment to a collection. Great size for a ring or a pendant! This gem runs a guaranteed no less than $400 per carat for this cut, color, clarity (SI to Clean) & carat weight from a jeweler, gem shopping network, or even a gem trade show.
