COMMENTS: Often mistaken for Tsavorite, or Emerald, Chrome-Tourmaline is considered the most valuable of green tourmaline's and is respectively quite rare.
Here is some very phenomenal & quite rare Chrome-Tourmaline's where the gem rough was mined from the ever declining Chrome-Tourmaline mines near Lendanai, Tanzania. These rare gems have a very exceptional face up appearance and a very gemmy eye appeal, but what makes these rare beauties stand out is their intense green in color & saturation. Introduced in the 1960's from the mines of Tanzania, Chrome-Tourmaline is a mere toddler of the tourmaline family. Often mistaken for Tsavorite, or Emerald, Chrome-Tourmaline is considered the most valuable of green tourmaline's and is respectively quite rare. Though not as expensive as its green friends such as the Tsavorite or Emerald, Chrome-Tourmaline is an amazing gemstone and will continue to increase in value as demand increases and African supplies continue to decline. No other country or continent produces the very fine intense green of the Tanzania Chrome-Tourmaline. Excellent size stones for a cocktail ring, cluster ring, or for multiply stone settings in a pendant! Very good asking price per stone. Fine green Tanzanian Chrome-Tourmaline's such as these run an average $100 to $400/ct for .5 to 1 carat faceted stones. These stones run absolutely no less than $20 per stone and we are offering them to you for a wholesale price.
Happy shopping! We are not new in the gem trade or auctioneering. We offer all natural gemstones, gem carvings, & facet/cab/specimen grade gem rough, with full disclosure of any enhancements known. We also offer excellent service in all aspects, secure packaging, and fast shipping. You will not be disappointed with this very fine gem!! Please realize that colors can slightly differ from monitor to monitor or with change of lighting (natural, fluorescent, full spectrum, or incandescent).
