Heavy, high quality ceramic pieces. For scale, the camel is 12 inches high at the head. Two of the Wise Men are a tad taller than that. Very nice detail on all the pieces. I hate to sell, (this was given to me), but I'd rather not take a chance on this getting broken with my 'bull in a china shop' son. It deserves to be displayed at least during Christmas time, and I would not be able to do that safely for quite a few years.
