Elm on Terracotta Base Wire Tree Sculpture
7"wide x 7.5"high x 6"deep. The tree is created using 22 and 26 solid copper wire. The type of copper wire I used is coated and will not tarnish or patina. The tree is "planted" on a 4" round Terra Cotta base. All is bound together into sand, pebbles and the mixture is intermingled among the roots. The mixture is painted in greens, yellows and whites, using India ink and looks like moss covered earth. India Ink is light fast.
