 | This is for a Juice-MAX Extractor Juicer. This is a Heavy Duty Professional Juicer. It is very solidly built. The base is all metal, polished chrome finish, with a heavy duty motor that weighs about 11 pounds! The power is not given but I expect it is at least 1 horsepower. The blade holder and the screen holder are also metal. The top is a thick, heavy duty clear plastic. The top has 2 openings for different sizes of fruit and vegetables. The plunger is a different size on each end to accommodate the holes. The very powerful motor is quite quiet even when juicing. This well made juicer is made by the FUJI ELECTRIC CO.LTD. and is Made in Japan. It is called on the plate M. Q. P. Juicer, Model J-164. It is distributed by Maximum Quality Products Ltd. , Montreal , P.Q.
It is in excellent mechanical condition and also in appearance.
It handles hard vegetables like carrots and beets with ease. It also juices apples, oranges and pomegranate. It runs very smoothly and I found it to be one of the best juicers I have used.
I found it to extract the MOST juice and leave the DRIEST pulp I have ever seen. This makes it extremely efficient to get the MOST juice possible.
I could find no reference to this unit anywhere but it did appear to be the most like the Waring Professional series juicers which are very high end units in the $600 US range).
The plastic screen was nearly identical to the ones used in the Braun MP 50 units and the Braun screen will work in this unit should a replacement be needed. The screen is in good condition with no rips or tears.
Overall this is an Excellent juicer with ease of use and quick cleanup.
