Classified Details

Antique French Palais Royal Egg Perfume Casket. Wonderfully designed, mother-of-pearl "egg casket" opens to reveal 2 matched perfume bottles with silver caps. Decorated with ormolu mounts which rest on an alabaster pedestal. Brass opening mechanism is in good working order. Measurements: 7"h x 4"w. No hairlines, no chips, etc. In very good overall condition.

These lovely items were sold in Paris during The Grand Tour era. They were souvenirs of a wonderful time spent abroad. Late 19th century objet d'art in excellent condition.
