Non-profit organization "Hearts in Unity" is seeking volunteers to help sew simple fabric school bags for school children in Tanzania, Africa.

An easy to follow pattern is provided (can make 3 school bags from just one yard of fabric). This is a great project for individuals or for sewing groups – and every bit of help is appreciated. We are headquartered in Wisconsin, but welcome all volunteers, both adults and youth, regardless of where you are located.

This is an ongoing project to help the African children of Seela Primary School (located on the slopes of Mt. Meru) and Maring’a Juu Primary School (located on the slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro). Donations of completed school bags can be mailed to us at any time.

We look forward to receiving your email if you are interested in more information about this project and in learning more how you can help us to help these precious children.
