 | 1995 Chevy Camaro: V6 3.4L. Run's great.. $2,000.
I've had this car for the past 5 years, it is very reliable and get's me too and from where I need to go. I am ONLY getting rid of it because I am having a baby in December and the back seat is not car seat friendly. I have put a lot of time and money into the car to keep it in good running order. Mileage on dash reads around 213K but I had a new cluster put in when some of the components stopped working so the car actually has around 125K miles on it.
I have had the following done to the car in the past year and a half:
NEW Water Pump
NEW Outer Ty Rods
NEW Radiator
NEW Thermostat
NEW Coil Packs
NEW Brakes all around
NEW Wheel Bearings
NEW Axel Shaft on the rear
NEW Sway Bar Links on the front
NEW Ball Joints
NEW Air Filter
NEW Fuel Filter
Used Cluster
Newer Tires all around
I still have receipts from most of the major work done to the car (Ball Joints, Water Pump..etc)
The only work needed to be done is:
Window motor on drivers side- less than $30 a do it yourself job.. very easy. Drivers side window will not roll down until motor is replaced.
New windshield- I've been quoted to have this done at less than $150.
New Control Arm Bushing on passenger side- Quoted less than $150. The Control Arm Bushing prevents the car from having an alignment but drives fine, just pulls a little bit.
Rear drivers side tail light- $50 new.. about $15 from a junk yard.
Since I've had the car when the gas tank is filled all the way there is a smell of gas, I have had this looked at several times and no one can find any leak or any cause for it. I've been told that it is okay and not a concern.
There is a slow oil leak, as all car's this age would have. Putting in a new oil pan would solve the problem but it is a very slow leak.
Heat works GREAT!!! A/C works but needs to be recharged. There is a crack in the dash from having the new cluster put in. There are some minor cosmetic spots on the car.. 2 rust spots and a minor dent by the gas tank. All of these things are inexpensive to fix and I have been quoted less than $100 to have them fixed. Paint is faded in some areas and bumper could used some paint in a few spots where it has flaked off.
Interior is OKAY.... There is a CD player with remote and the car is wired for a sub woofer and all of that good audio stuff.
Selling for $2,000 and I will not take much less than that considering all of the work I have had put into the car.. serious inquiries only please!!! I am trying to sell as soon as possible so I can get something else before I deliver. I do drive this car in the winter and it handles great if you know how to handle it in the snow. I had ABS disabled because the ABS is terrible for driving this car in the snow so the ABS INOP light is on but it's easy to hook it back up if you want the ABS. I have given an extremely accurate description of the car and I have many photos.
