I am looking to rent a medium sized, clean camper for the week of July 5-11th. This is fair week at the Mecosta County Fairgrounds in Big Rapids. This is the last year my daughters and I will be attending fair, and the camper we have been able to use in years past is no longer available.
Terms are negotiable and we are completely open to (and suggest) a contract. We would need the rig hauled in on July 3rd (or 4th if you really wanted to) and taken back out on July 12th. A trailer around 24 ft fits great in the lot we have, but we can work with a little bigger or smaller. Our lot has water, electric, and sewer hook-up. Must fit 4 people comfortably, be clean, have not been smoked in or have a musty smell, and have air conditioning! I have severe asthma and need clean, cool air to escape to.
We are clean, neat people and can provide several references for you to check with. If we should happen to break or ruin anything we will absolutely replace it. My daughter shows horses and she makes sure to leave the barn out of the camper during fair week, and we will clean the rig to its original state before it is picked up on the 12th. We are also prepared to provide our own bedding, utensils, plates, etc.
I know this is an unusual request, but if you happen to have a camper that fits the bill and could use a little extra cash while you’re not using it, please consider my offer. Another family in my daughter’s 4-H group does a similar deal with a rented personal camper, and we are hoping to find a similar generous family. Please contact me with any questions or offers.
