 | It's not too soon to be thinking about a gift for Mom for Mother's Day! I grew up in the South and it was a tradition for ladies to wear a rose corsage on Mother's Day. A red rose indicated your mother was living and showed your love for her. A white rose meant your mom had passed on but was cherished in your memories. It was a beautiful way of honoring mothers. Roses are traditional for Mother's Day everywhere, and these plates would be a lovely twist on a rose bouquet for your mom. They are gift quality and will last long after a real bouquet has faded away.
I have three plates in the Vieonne Moreley"s Romantic Roses series. The series captures roses in a soft, muted style that will work in just about any room. These plates are all in great condition, no chips, cracks, peeling, or fading. I believe it is important to check comparable prices before buying from CL so you will know if the item is really a bargain or not. Two of these plates are currently available on Amazon and I have included those links for reference so you can see the going price for these. My price is substantially under that. Essentially, you would be buying one and getting the other two plates for free, plus you won't have to pay shipping!
The first plate is titled "Victorian Beauty" and is the premier issue of the series by Bradex. It is available on Amazon for $35 to $45.
The second is "Old-Fashioned Grace" and sells on Amazon for $40 to $50.
"Pastoral Delight" is the third plate I have. I did not find it on Amazon or any other reliable site for comparison.
