This set is made from pine and birch woods and comes in assorted shapes and sizes: 3/4 - 1 1/2 inches thick, 1 - 1 1/2 inches wide, and 1 1/2 - 6 inches long. The blocks are hand sanded to a smooth surface and finished with a child safe, non-toxic toy oil. These building blocks are sure to bring many hours of imaginative fun to any child and makes a great gift. Because of some small parts this toy is not recommended for children under 3 years of age.
