 | I'm moving and have no need or room for my Marshall half-stack anymore, so I am sadly parting with it. It is a JCM 2000 DSL 100 head (100 watts) with a JCM 900 Lead - 1960 cabinet (300W). I bought it at Skip's Music years ago and have had virtually no problems with it, even though it was a floor model (which is where some of the cosmetic damage came from). For those who haven't experienced this set-up...it's very, very loud. For the video, I had both channels at approximately .2 (yes...under 1); turning it all the way up shakes the house.
Keep in mind this was used mainly for practicing and studio work, but it did endure the occasional live show. It still works great, but there is definitely cosmetic damage from transporting it. Most of it is pretty inconspicuous, but I included it all in the video. There should be no surprises here.
Here is a video of the amp; a close-up, the cosmetic damage, and how it sounds; type this in after the = (equal) sign on any youtube video: 6gz61-N_btE
A couple other things to mention/clarify - this is the DSL 100 (as opposed to the 50's on craigslist right now), meaning it has double the wattage as the others, making it subsequently louder.
Also, as far as Google shopping goes, I couldn't find a DSL 100 head for under $700, even through eBay (used); and with the pricing of the DSL 50s on here, I figured $1000 is pretty fair, but I'm open to offers.
Please email for more info, or to set up a time to check it out. | |
