Here is a spectacular & more rarer cherry red fire opal where the gem rough was mined from the Carbonea Mine, in the La Trinidad area of Queretaro, Mexico. This gem pair has a fiery cherry red color tone with an exceptional face up and a very gemmy eye appeal. The Queretaro area of Mexico produces some of the finest fire opals I have seen, especially the precious rainbow and cherry red fire opals. Would make an exceptional pair for some earrings.
