You can buy a starter flock or individual sheep to continue the preservation of this heritage breed of sheep. You can also buy the raw wool from the annual shearing for natural fiber uses such as: spinning, felting and other crafts.

Our Leicesters are eager grazers, making good use of available pasture. They are docile and relatively easy to handle. Our Leicester Longwool sheep all have white fleeces, although the breed also produces black fleeces. The natural colored roving is soft and spinnable. The long staple is user friendly and suited to many styles of yarn, including lace weight. The Leicester Longwool fleeces wash well and take dye beautifully.

We live in beautiful northeast Iowa, outside of Dubuque, Iowa on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River valley. We are located in the tri-state area: Iowa / Illinois / Wisconsin.
